Live-Music-Film – Comfortably Numb

Ich liebe Musik. Probenräume. Musiker. Backstage. Herzblut. Herzrasen. Lange Jahre habe ich meiner Leidenschaft für Musik mit Fotografie Ausdruck gegeben – und habe dabei doch recht wesentliche Zutaten außer Acht gelassen: Rhythmus, Melodie und Schalldruck.

Zugegebenermaßen ist meine Entwicklung Richtung Musik-Film nicht wirklich überraschend, aber für mich doch revolutionär. Ich bin geflasht, wie groß wir mit überschaubarem, enthusiasmierten Team arbeiten können, wie nah wir „dem Eigentlichen“ kommen, welche Gefühlswallung in Vollbild mit aufgedrehtem Sound so entsteht.

Ich danke der phantastischen Band Comfortably Numb um Timm C. Schlotfeldt für diese Performance, die sicher noch lange nachschwingen wird. Thank you for the music! Und 1.000 Dank an Vsevolod, den tollsten Assi der Welt.

I love music. Rehearsal rooms. Musicians. Backstage. Passion. Heart racing. For many years, I have expressed my passion for music through photography – and yet, I neglected some essential ingredients: rhythm, melody, and pure sound pressure.

Admittedly, my development towards music film is not really surprising, but for me, it is revolutionary. I am amazed at how effectively we can work with a small, enthusiastic team, how close we get to the essence, and the emotional waves that emerge in full screen with the sound properly turned up.

I thank the fantastic band Comfortably Numb, led by Timm C. Schlotfeldt, for this performance that will surely resonate for a long time. Thank you for the music! And a thousand thanks to Vsevolod, the world’s finest assistant.
